| I am Todd Steven Ricketts ,who the Hell are you? I am Todd S. Ricketts ,born 6/17/1955 ,that was a Friday Rainman! I am the oldest son of Garvin A.(Rick)Ricketts Jr. and Jeanne M. Thompson. I was born at Eden Hospital in Castro Valley ,California.I have two younger brothers Terry and Mark. I attended James Madison elementary school in San Leandro ,Ca until 1965 then we moved to Fremont where I attended Patterson and Olivera elementary schools. I attended Thornton Junior high school next then went to Washington High school in Fremont,graduating with honors,I mean idiocy in 1973. I then started a career in digging ditches,which I found out hurts like hell,so after a stellar 3 day career, I retired.I then took a vacation to Oregon with my friends Jim Sherman and Stub Williams,we had a total of forty dollars between us.This limited our spending(and driving) alot so we resorted to stealing gas and cigarettes. What fun it was to be there visiting Jim's relatives and ex-girlfriend,who liked me better than Jim.Jim stole a lot of gas when he was rejected by her I noticed. I then returned to Fremont ,where I lucked out and got a new career at Ford Motor Company installing windshields on Pintos and Mustang II's for 4.35 an hour.I was pressing on the windows holding them to the car for 12 hours a day ,I soon found out that this is a form of Isometrics and I went from 165 scrawny pounds to 260 not so scrawny pounds in 6 months,giving me the confidence to beat the krap out of everybody who had picked on me when I was scrawny,I cannot begin to tell you the joy of tapping some butthole on the shoulder and when he turned around,he just knew that his days of flicking me in the ears with a rubberband was probably over for awhile.I also grew to 6'5" during this fun time ,I forgot to mention. I was layed off and began a 20 year career in the Printed Circuit Board business in 1975,first in the plating shop and then in the Drilling little fricking Holes department. I then quit this lunacy and began the extra stellar career of Cab driving, making so much money that I bought a motor home and lived in an orchard. In 1996 I was offered a job by my friend Joe Bearce at a large outdoor concert at the Oakland Coliseum working with the stagehands. After a stellar career as a permit worker on March,13 2001 I received an apprenticeship with Local 107 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees On November 11,2002 I received another appenticeship with local 134 in San Jose,CA On March 16,2004 I was awarded journeyman status with local local 107. On April 7,2004 I lost my dear close friend Scott DeBenning. |
